Engine 43

Engine 43 is a 2016 Spartan Pumper. It carries 1000 gallons of water, 20 gallons foam, and is equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute pump. It carries 1000 ft. of 4 inch hose, 500 ft. of 3 inch hose, 200 ft. of 2 inch hose, 550 ft. of 1.75 inch hose, and 100 ft of 1 inch hose. This truck also carries hydraulic rescue tools for vehicle accidents, ladders, medical equipment, and an assortment of hand tools. Engine 43 is the primary response vehicle, and it responds to all calls with the exception of grass or brush fires. Replacement cost of this vehicle with the equipment is in excess of $520,000.
Tanker 43

Tanker 43 is a 2003 American LaFrance pumper/tanker with a 3000 gallon water tank and 1000 gallon per minute pump. It carries 1200 ft. of 4 inch hose, 350 ft. of 3 inch hose, 400 ft. of 1.75 inch hose, ladders, a portable folding water tank, and an assortment of hand tools. Tanker 43 responds to vehicle accidents as a secondary traffic block, structure fires, and grass fires. Tanker 43 is one of many identical trucks purchased by Parker County to help with water supply county-wide. Replacement cost with equipment is approximately $350,000
Brush 43

Brush 43 is a 1997 Chevrolet 3500 4x4 with a 300 gallon water tank and a 100 gallon per minute pump. It carries 100 ft. of 1.75 inch hose, 150 ft. of 1 inch hose, drip torches, and an assortment of hand tools. Brush 43 is used in wildland fires. This truck was purchased in 1997 with the help of a grant from the Texas Forest Service. Replacement cost of this vehicle with the equipment is approximately $130,000.
Brush 243

Brush 243 is a 2003 Ford F-550 4x4 with a 400 gallon tank and 250 gallon per minute pump. It carries 100 ft. of 1.75 inch hose, 150 ft. of 1 inch hose, drip torches, and an assortment of hand tools. Brush 243 is used at wildland fires, and would cost approximately $130,000 to replace.
